We’ve given you lots of quality, accredited course material. However, studies have shown that just looking at material won’t always guarantee retention of key facts.
4) You’re Not Alone!
Online learning should never be a lonely experience – don’t forget you’ve got access via email to a fully qualified ITIL V3 Expert Tutor. This person is fully qualified in ITIL V3 and is there to assist you with any questions or clarification points that you may have.
5) Condense the Material
There is often a lot of new material to learn with ITIL. All of the key terms, definitions and new concepts can sometimes feel a little daunting!
Stat to condense all of your materials down into the key facts – making your owns notes a you progress. Think about creating your own set of study notes and revision aides as you progress. The most successful candidates are always the ones who spend a lot of time making their own notes and using these proactively.
6) Get Comfortable with the Syllabus
As each course is released, we’ll add the relevant Syllabus to your Document Download area. Find the syllabus, download and print it.
7) Apply ITIL!
Another one of the benefits of online learning is that you can apply what you learn, as you learn. Take new ideas back to work, discuss them with your colleagues, and initiate improvements.
8) Find Your Learning Style
There are 3 main Learning Styles. Auditory Learners learn through ‘hearing’, Visual Learners learn by ‘seeing’, and Kinaesthetic Learners learn by ‘doing’.
9) Get Everyone Involved
It’s hard on families and colleagues when you’re locked away, studying hard for your exam. Get people involved! Prepare presentations for your colleagues, get your family to quiz you and help you to study.
10) Remember Why You’re Here
The last, and perhaps most important point is – remember why you are here!
