The ITIL Intermediate Level
Once you have passed your ITIL Foundation, the next step is the Intermediate level – which leads to the highly desired ITIL Expert qualification.
The Intermediate Level is a dual stream modular certification series, each with a set of certifications and accreditations. These training courses take a deeper dive into the Service Lifecycle series which will be of interest to anyone wishing to obtain more intimate knowledge of ITIL V3 practices within the Service Lifecycle context. These Training courses are also available in a lower cost, value package called the ITIL Expert Program.
Each module of the Lifecycle series covers an introduction to that particular stage of the Service Lifecycle including: the principles, processes, functions and activities within that stage, along with technology and implementation considerations.
Each ITIL Lifecycle training course is a ‘free-standing’ qualification in its own right. Each of the above six training courses may be taken in succession to enable you to qualify for the over-arching qualification – the ITIL Expert Level certification in IT Service Management. The purpose of these modules and the associated exams is to impart, test, and validate the knowledge of industry practices in Service Management and the Service Lifecycle as documented in the ITIL Service Management Practices Core Publications. This training will be of specific interest to you if you want to expand your capabilities in IT Service Management, develop a more in-depth understanding of ITIL best practices and generally seek a better grasp of the business fundamentals that drive the need for IT services and justify investments.
These courses will expose you to essential aspects of Management, Marketing, Operations, and Organization Management – all extremely useful to help you appreciate the concerns of your customers and their business counterparts within a Service Management context.
On this learning portal, each of the above six intermediate courses will be available as both individual course packages and one Expert Program package – enabling you to cost effectively progress from ITIL V3 Foundation all the way to ITIL V3 Expert. Each training course and each final exam is inclusive of video tutorials, study guides, quizzes, exercises, tutor support, practice exams and your final exams. Final exams may be taken under supervision at your local office.
